Guest Speaker:
Jean Volcy is an Elder at Strathmore Boulevard Church of Christ in Toronto and has been married to Marie Volcy for 40 years. They have three daughters and now two grandsons, Nicholas (Nico) 15 years old and his 1-year-old brother Trenton (Tre).
The Strathmore Boulevard Congregation allows Jean the freedom to teach and preach at some sister congregations, mostly in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as needed, for example, twice a month at the Bayview Ave congregation.
By the grace of God and with the help of supporters, Jean planted the church in Fonds-Parisien, Haiti in 2002 and the orphanage NOTRE MAISON (meaning "Our Home") in 2015.
Jean has organized 40+ mission trips to Haiti since 2002 to help strengthen the work there. Thanks to social media, he has been able to remotely assist members and seekers, answering questions with weekly Bible studies, podcasts, etc.
Based on the audience, Jean can preach in English, Spanish, French, or Creole.
